The Ultimate Baby Shower Guide - From Games and Decorations to Food and Gifts

My amazing friend Veronica and lovely sister-in-law Helena
arranged the most incredible baby shower for Miguel and I, and we were blown away by the beautiful beachside location, delicious buffet, and special surprises.

I wore a stunning maternity dress given to me by Helena, and Veronica did my hair and makeup, making me feel like the ultimate princess! To top it off, Neli, my mother-in-law, ordered a spectacular spread, and they decorated the venue to perfection.

But the excitement didn't stop there - today was the day we were finally going to reveal our baby's name! I came up with a unique name guessing game involving tote bags and letters, and our guests were absolutely loving it. As soon as Auntie Sara saw the letter N, she knew right away that we chose Noah!

We were showered with so much love and support - from amazing gifts to stunning performances - and everyone was having the time of their lives. It was truly a magical moment that I'll never forget.

Now, if you're ready for some baby-shower inspiration, keep on reading!

I knew everyone was making it so special for us so I wanted to make sure that I showered them with love back as much as I could!

I love arts and crafts and so I had so much fun making things for everyone!

One of my funnest creations for the food was this watermelon pushchair fruit bowl! (Click here to read more about my big watermelon craving!)

I was so excited to include this Pinterest-inspired idea, and it turned out to be a hit with everyone. My friends and guests had a good laugh, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

One of the cutest things I did at the baby shower was having everyone write messages for my son Noah on a little outfit! The idea was to give him the outfit and let him read the messages from our loved ones when he's older, but we couldn't resist using it for some of his early monthly photos. It was such a lovely touch, and I know it will be a special memory that we can look back on when Noah is all grown up. Our guests had a blast leaving messages for him in the cutest handwriting, ranging from heartfelt notes to funny little puns. It was truly one of the most touching parts of the day. #BabyShowerMemories #SweetLittleNoah #FamilyIsEverything

I created these personalized keychains with special titles for those closest to us, like Tía Helena and Abuela Neli, and initial keychains for friends and family. We popped these special gifts in cute little goodie bags with sweets and beautiful tea light candles from Mercadona wrapped in cute Washi tape! It was so exciting to give them to everyone, and seeing their faces light up when they opened them made it all worth it. I can't wait to see Noah grow up surrounded by all of this love and support.

As a special touch for Helena and Veronica, I hand-painted lion-king themed boxes for them with sweet messages inside. It was such a pleasure to surprise them with these gifts. Veronica's loving reaction - which included some happy tears - warmed our hearts and added an extra layer of joy to this special day. Their love and support have been invaluable to us, and we're so grateful to have them in our lives.

I wanted to offer something special and memorable to everyone at the baby shower, so I ordered these special keepsakes - soap with Noah's name spelled out on them! A unique idea, and everyone loved them.

Although a few people thought they were chocolate and were disappointed they couldn't bite into them, they still appreciated the thought and creativity that went into these cute and practical gifts.

It was a wonderful way to give our guests a little piece of our special day to remember. We're happy that these will be a lasting memory of our baby shower for everyone involved.

For the name reveal I used my Silhouette Cameo Plotter to create the letters of each tote bag and then printed and ironed them on!

I wanted something a bit different so I got his aunties, uncle and grandmother to do a little runway with them! it was so much fun!

A couple of games we played were guessing the baby's birthdate and the number of sweets in a jar.
Other fun and lighthearted games I saw but didn't use were "Baby Shower Charades," where participants acted out words related to babies and a "Diaper Contest" where players guessed the number of diapers in a pile, and the winner got a special prize!
