What I did to make extra money and entertain myself during my pregnancy.



Once I finished work as a waitress at about 22 weeks, I couldn't just sit still and needed to keep myself busy!


My main hobby was photography, I started out going to the dog beach with Miguel and Marley and sat there for hours taking photos of Marley and all the different breeds that would come to play!





I also would go to Mascots Resort where I'd love to sit and capture the dogs playing in the pool and having the time of their lives!


I eventually got in touch with WOW Dogtrainer Fenya to ask if I could come by to take some photos of the training that she does.


This led me to start earning some extra money too doing mini photo sessions and also creating calendars for her clients!





I also took some photos of events such as Dog Fest 2022 :


and FACT charity event in Sunset Bay:





Another thing that I would do was social media management for Babuhska's Tenerife, I'd keep the socials updated, answer clients and take photos of the bar and the events they would have.
I also would help make their uniforms with my Silhouette Cameo and draw their cocktail boards for the terrace. 


I did all of this right until I popped! So I definitely kept myself busy!

Hospital bag? Here are my suggestions on what you may need!

Well you have all read our birthing story, now it's time for the tips on what to take to the hospital!  As you are leading up to your due date, your emotions start running wild.  Excitement, nerves, panic... do I have everything I need? Do I have a pretty robe to give birth in, did I pack my hairbrush so I look good for the photos?  Let me tell you, all of that goes out the window when you give birth, and of course, those are thoughts that leave your mind when you are in the moment. But let me explain...  When you get into hospital, you are given a robe to wear, and they prefer you to just wear that rather than your pretty robe you have bought because apparently it is easier for them to -access- you I suppose and also, honestly it is better for you not to get your own clothes all dirty too! The Morning Sickness Survivor: How I made it through work while pregnant.

I walked into work, and there was my friend who had told me I was pregnant! I had to tell her she was psychic! How did she know?? As the days passed, that dreaded feeling set in - the morning sickness, or in my case, all day sickness. It seemed like no matter what I did, I just couldn't keep my breakfast down. My friend's stash of ginger sweets helped, at least I now had a fighting chance of making it through the day without projectile vomiting in front of my boss. That's right, my boss. As if sickness wasn't bad enough, now I had to hide it from my boss.
